Hi kitt

Great question had to think for a while.

I would wish for a world of peace and understanding, where everyone could and would accept everyone else for who they are. No more war, no more strife, no more conflict. I would also like to see less mental health stigma.

WOW!  A couple of wonderful responses.  Like Hibee, I had to stop and think a few minutes.  A lot was covered in the first two wishes. 

 

But, I think my wish would be for poverty and hunger to be eradicated from the world.  So many people have a horrible existence because of this.  I believe if everyone worked together, this wish could be achieved, too.  Oh, the joy that would bring everyone!  :-)

New member, hi yall! I agree with each of you! So since those have already been established: I wish each child that is orphaned, whether it is here or in another country, could be given a home with people who love and care for them. I have a niece, Lainey Jia-Ying (her middle name was the name given to her by the orphanage at which she was abandoned at around 4 days old). She has brought my sister in law, her husband and the whole family, in general, great joy. More of these children need good homes and if I had my wish, they'd have them.

I don't think I could contain it in one wish. I have so many. But I guess if I had to pick one, that would be to stop abuse. Spouse and child abuse...especially child abuse.

These are all great...I love how they are all selfless...and on that note...

I wish that everyone would treat his/her fellow people as well (or better!) than they treat themselves.

This would eliminate just about all hurt, pain, and selfish acts in the world. It could only work if every person would participate, but what an amazing thing it would be!!!

I wish!….that I could have two eyes in the back of my head, instead of just one!…..it would make parenting much easier! Now StKitt clap those hands together, and say "Hercules!"…"Hercules!" tongue

Screaming E,  oh my,  that is a good one and I have seen others commenting lately that you can't have to many eyes when it comes to raising kids.  turn

I am loving all the answers and my hope is that members keep posting to this thread as we move through the holiday season.  If we would all take a moment to think of any selfless wish that would be one less moment of anxiety in our lives.

I think I would wish for the end of world hunger. It is so sad to think that there are people in the world without food.

It is hard to just pick one wish, but that would be mine.

I would have to agree with all of the other posts... but if I had only one wish it would be for HOPE for all who suffer... Mental, physical, and otherwise!!

I never thought about winning the lottery... Good one... Then you could help others and help yourself too. Hey did you guys see on the news about somebody paying off people's layaways at Kmart? I thought that was cool...

The St. Jude's telethon has been on the radio the last couple of days and when I hear they just wish for an ice cream party it reminds me of how a small wish can make a huge difference in a child's life.

I would wish for everyone to live their lives without fear and to love one another, as well as him/herself. I think that alone would solve most of the world's problem. Sending love and light to all.
