Can someone please give me some feedback on this topic? I am a 57 year old female, work out several times per week, take very good care of myself, take vitamins, try to do all the things they say you should do to stay healthy. I am 5'5" tall, weigh 139 lbs, still proud of how I look, even though I am over the hill. I am under stress, but let's face it, who the hell isn't??
I have suffered from anxiety all my life, but I really thought I had it kicked. Have not had a true panic attack in years. Took my 31 year old son to lunch today, driving back to work, out of the clear blue sky, I have this wierd 10 - 15 second dizzy spell, buzzing head rush, heart pounding spell (probably because it scared me), and I just don't know what to think about that It came out of absolutely no where! I am happy it was so short-lived, but why did it happen at all? I have had these before, although they are few and far between.
I do have mitral valve prolapse, which is typical for people who suffer from panic attacks...did not notice a change in heart rythum or anything like that. I am just so pissed off! I hate worrying about my health! What is it now!?? I have to say getting old is not for sissys!
So what do you think? Do I need to worry that I am having a stroke or heart attack? Help!
