I am trying to break out of my Scrouge-funk! I have been soooo busy, and I am soooo tired...but now I have some time off, and it's time to get happy and festive...okay watch me...here I go...uh, maybe tomorrow! Lol!

Seriously though, Happy holidays to all, and I hope that in between the running around, planning and prep, that you can take time to experience the miracles of the season!

I am so sorry to hear that you have had many personal trials, I can't imagine how it has been for you. I know that you are an incredibly strong lady and I am so impressed at your courage and perseverance through it all.

I do understand needing to take the time to heal, but I do hope that you are back to stay with us, your HW family...welcome home.

Gentle Hugs and how I wish I could have been there in person through your saddest hour.  I have kept you in my prayers and I always will.  You have been struck down way to many times but do know that wherever you are your HW family is near by thinking of you.

I know as so do you that we move on from the death of a child but there is always a piece of our heart that remembers that child and we cry alone way to often. 

On a brighter note,  it is great to see you here and look,  Hibee is a Moderator now.  :-) My email is still in my profile so send me a note if you feel like it.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of my new friends here at HW.  You have been a blessing to me this past year, don't know how I would have made it through  some days without venting to you guys.  December is a rough month for me as I have lost a lot of relatives in Dec.  including my dear dad.  He left us two weeks before Christmas 15 years ago.  I still am grieving for him.

We lost my dad years ago, but I still think of him around the Holidays.  I have a picture of him holding me as a baby.  I am dressed in a christmas jumper, and he looks so handsome in his ski-pants and sweater!

My heart goes out to all who have lost a loved one, especially during the holiday time! I will be thinking of all of you, and wish that the peace of the season will lift the burden of your hearts a bit.

Our family did get some welcome news...I did not post this previously as it was a little early...but my step-dad tested positive for PC. His bone scan and MRI showed that it is contained, and can be treated with a radiation implantation device. You never want to hear the 'C' word...but at least it is treatable, and his doctor says he'll be fully recovered after treatment.:)

Again to everyone, have a blessed holiday season, and keep posting...we are family and need to celebrate together too!

I understand the bittersweet memories that come with Christmas as over the years I have lost way to many and my Dad was the first one which still makes me cry as I was his only child.  We were "bestest friends"  But I have picked up new family members since losing my Dad all those years ago.  We now have 7 grandchildren and how we love to spoil them.

SC, I am so glad your stepdad's bone scan and MRI were clear.  That is a great gift for him and helps all of you feel a bit more festive.

I will email you tomorrow as I should be home  cleaning and finishing up chores.
