ShootingStar I understand exactly what your feeling. My mantra for a long time was " I want my life back". I have now changed it to "I am OK". The hardest part of having anxiety is accepting that this is part of your life. Once you can do that then you will realize that life is always changing and we cannot go back, we cannot predict the future but we can to learn to stay in the moment.
There is a great free online therapy that you can work on from home called MoodGYM. It is a CBT program.
Cognitive-behavioral therapy is based on the idea that our
thoughtscause our feelings and behaviors, not external things, like people, situations, and events. The benefit of this fact is that we can change the way we think to feel / act better even if the situation does not change.
Here is the link for this progam. At first it may seem kind of simple but keep at it and you will find it to be very helpful.
