Hello, I am an 18 year old female, just recently moved out of my mother's home, now living on my own & a senior in high school.
But for the past two months, I wake up way earlier than usual, normally around 5 AM or 5:30. I'm waken up by usually a sharp pain in my stomach like I have to use the restroom, or I'm waken up by a starving sensation in my stomach. I immediately go to the bathroom and usually I have diarrhea, and about
4-5 times a week I'll also have to throw up. It's not a normal vomit either, it's very foamy and I usually have to drink something to force it out. All during this, I know I'm hungry, but the thought of food is unbearable.
& all while this is happening my chest feels like it is caving in, and I can feel my heart sinking. Right after I throw up I will feel a little better, and some mornings I will be able to sleep for a little, but then soon to be awaken by the same feeling and then it starts all over again. The feeling is one of the worst feelings I've ever dealt with. The pain is so bad I start balling my eyes out. The only way to stop it is to (God forbid) smoke , but that is the absolute ONLY way to make it stop.
Hours later though, my stomach pains are back again, and I am very fatigued lately.
I've been to the hospital (I'm NOT pregnant), had several EKG's, had blood work, pap smears, been to the cardiologist and my next step is to be referred to a GI specialist, then my Dr says she's going to refer me to a psychiatrist because she may feels it could be stress.
The pain is so bad I'm missing so much school, and I might not even be able to graduate, Anybody have any ideas that could help me out?
