Hi all! I took the advice of several of you and tried two self-help suggestions: the book From Panic to Power by Lucinda Bassett, and the cd Pass Through Panic by Dr. Claire Weeks.
I haven't finished either yet completely...I'm about
3/4 done with the book, and I just started cd 2 (it's 2 CDs). Both, so far, have been fantastic. The book has lots of tips and stories of people who've overcome anxiety and panic attacks. The CDs discuss what anxiety and panic actually are and howmthey effect your body, basically helping you realize you're not dying when panicking, and why.
Getting well has been work, but I want it so badly, I'm willing to try anything...and thankfully, many of you have given great advice to help get over this awful problem!!

That is great news LMF!
I hope that you continue to gain valuable wisdom from these sources. Knowledge is power, so keep learning all that you can!
Keep up the great work.
Talk to you soon,
S.C.

I have been doing so much better, with the help from the CD's you mentioned.
I hope they continue to help you!
