Hi All,
I have only been a member for about 2 months and have found alot of good avice, My anxiety is due to having Chronic Migraines for over 34 years without and good relief. While it's only been 2 months on the meds my Pdoc put me on It's been a little bit of a rollercoaster ride but understandable when starting on new meds as we are not like electronics and can just replace a part or reload a program to resolve an issue.
Hibee, I hope all goes well with your past employer, in the past year I have used almost all my sick days, have taken a family medical leave due to the Migrianes (or the ones brought on by the anxiety).
I just started Botox this past December and it did help for the heavy percipitation triggered migraine but not the extreme temperature change ones, going to try another round of Botox and change the location to concentrate more on the area where the migraine hits.
So far the best relief I have had is with the meds from the Pdoc (Klonopin and Buspar), and it appears the Botox as well. Here's hoping the next round of Botox helps. I do need to talk to the doc about an old head injury that I just remembered about some 30+ years ago. ( I ran headlong into an old standup safe and remember felling dizzy and nausea but never telling my Mom about it so never went to the doc about it back then, not sure if an injury that long ago could be the cause.)
Sorry for the long post, Writing things out make me feel better than talking about things.
Have a great day All
Scotty
