Hello and welcome to HW,Tingling in the legs is a
relatively common problem that may be caused by something as simple as sitting
in the same position for too long. Tingling may also occur as a result of
strenuous exercise, a new medication, and vitamin deficiencies. In
cases like these, leg tingling is not usually serious.
However, tingling in the legs may sometimes indicate more serious
problems that requires evaluation by a qualified health care professional.
I have had the numbness and tingling sensation as well as one leg has swollen up on me but other than a known disc herniation at L5-S1 identified via MRI in 2006 I rarely have any problems.
I did have an episode 2 years ago where I experienced leg weakness along with left arm weakness that lasted about 30 seconds. I was experiencing some speech problems and had the whole 9 yards series of CT Scans, MRIs ect of my head and nothing was abnormal. LOL - other than my anxiety which they could not see on tests.
Even thow you do not have insurance you may want to just schedule an office visit with your PCP and should you need an MRI down the road you can have it done when your insurance is in effect.
Now treat yourself to some down time just for you, relax, do something nice for you and remember to take a big breath and know things will be OK.
Kindly,
Kitt
