I'm on the way out the door to take the 40 minute walk to the coffee shop. Did it once last week...a lot of (manageable) anxiety but no panic. Could not have asked for a more beautiful day to do it. All signs point to a very pleasant outing!!!

Enjoy your walk and just look at everything around you as you amble on down the road. This is your time and if anxiety rears it's ugly head just kick it to the curb.

You people say the nicest things. Thank you for that!
There was anxiety again, but less than the first time I did it. I know that with repeated exposure I will overcome the phobia, just like all the others that I've faced down. I'm determined to make long walks the purely enjoyable experience they once were.
Frizzbee, this has been our hottest summer on record, and it seems reluctant to give way to fall. I'm looking forward to the arrival of the clean, crisp air. :)

That is awesome L.L!!!
Great job on facing the things that are really tough...again!
I am really excited for you and your accomplishments, and can't wait to hear about
your new puppy when he comes home!

The shelter gave my puppy to somebody else. :(
I'm looking into other rescue groups and private breeders, but no luck so far. I know a pet store that has a litter, but I don't trust them not to buy from a puppy mill.

Oh no! I am so sorry to hear that (and to bring up what I am sure is a sore subject)
I do hope that you can find another puppy soon that will be the perfect match...great things are worth waiting for.:)
Anyway, you can and should still celebrate your victory over the agoraphobia troubles!!
High fives:)
