I have had this anxiety symptom as well. It can be very disturbing!
This along with feeling dizzy are two symptoms that can threaten to send me into an anxiety spiral as well...with the what-if thoughts and all.
I found that if I can let it go...just accept the feelings for what they are...temporary by-products of stress, then I can start to feel better pretty quickly.
Yesterday for example, I spent the day with my girls. My oldest is bi-polar 2 and prone some major mood swings. She is going into a depressive state and currently not treating her disorder. So my youngest daughter and I were walking on eggshells with her, and being careful to keep things light and breezy.
For me, this causes emotional stress...add to the fact that I also was driving over a coastal, hilly highway (to the beach) and I started to feel dizzy once we got there.
I just told myself to 'enjoy the ride' so to speak, and just sort of rollled with it. (went lurching around Half Moon Bay, Lol!!) We ended up having a great day actually...and later last night, I went for an 10 mile (approx) bike ride, and felt perfectly fine.;)
It is really a challenge to let go of the fear that symptoms bring on...but if you can just remember that the less you focus on them, the weaker they become, it should help you to feel better A.S.A.P.
