I have been have some decent days over the last week. Today I am anxious. I was hoping it went away for good but today it is back. My question to my women forum friends is due you find yourself more anxious the week before your period. I remembering thinking about
it last month and brushing it off. I am due for my period 3/19, Tuesday. I anxious and am having trouble concentrating. I am at work and want to go home. The last week I have felt like I managing better and now feeling anxious again. Thoughts?

Yes, I think it does something to us, it's definitely got something to do with hormones at least in part, with me, maybe you too.

Oh I am a mess a week before and the week of. Its one of the tell tale signs for me that my period is gonna start soon.
My anxiety is a good 10x worse for those 2 weeks. No fun what so ever thats for sure.

I definitely think hormones play a role in anxiety. I know a week before my time my husband just expects me to have a major meltdown. Oddly enough, when im pregnant when most women are at their peak of strange cry sprees and emotions, i'm totally normal. lol

Well, I just never! lol
Hey Girls me too.
I had my first panic attack within two years of having thyroid trouble, I never thought of a relationship,
mine was 150% over active, had radiation treatment and after 6 months found out I was hypothyroid,
I take .137mg a day now and for life.
I wonder?
Sarah, the only time I remember my Wife being problem free was during and about
4-6 months after pregnancy then the old symptoms would come back.

I usually find myself more prone to anxiety the week before and the first couple days of my cycle. Nothing horrible though, but this past period I had a panic attack on my first day and I've been having anxiety ever since after being panic free for over a year. I definitely think hormones play a big role in women's anxiety and switching up my birth controls probably messed up my hormones. Anyway, I and obviously plenty of other women can relate to you! You are not alone!

Goodness yes! It's horrible the week before and during my cycle. Dizziness is usually at it's peak around that time too!

I most definitely feel my anxiety more the week before and during my period. It has to be hormones. It's all I can think of. Quite discomforting since I'm already in discomfort from my period. I always get extra tired, headaches, and cramps during my period along with anxiety. I just don't feel like myself.

Thank you so much for your responses. Since I posted I have remembered what you each said and took it day by day.
My period is due tomorrow and last night I had trouble sleeping like the anxiety was just sitting there. I woke up afraid panic was going to set in any minute. I took the day off work and just feel anxious and not myself.
Worried I something is wrong? Do you guys still think it is becausey period is due tomorrow? Thanks. Nervous
