Hi Vivianna,
I am so glad to hear that you have seen your doctor...this is always a great place to start.
It is good news that you have been diagnosed and that you will be receiving treatment.
Panic disorder simply means (in a nutshell) that you suffer anxiety and recurring panic attacks.
Many people benefit greatly from medication and/or therapy...so it is good that you will be discussing these options with your doctor soon.
Health anxiety, nocturnal worry and social anxiety (the last two, you mentioned in your last post) are all within the anxiety spectrum and fairly common among sufferes of A/P.
I mentioned in your other post response about
our
Resource Guide for self-help ideas. Give it a look and see if the breathing and relaxation exercises help you. (find the Resources on our main page, 1st post)
I hope that you will let us know how your appointment goes, and let us support you during this time. Great job on reaching out and getting help! :)
S.C.
p.s. I hope that you feel better from your virus soon!!
