Deep breath Vivianna, it is really going to be allright. I can most assuredly say that it is extememly unlikely that you have anything to worry about as far as brain tumor go.
Let's look at some facts:
1. Brain tumors are extremely rare. Only a very, very small percentage of people will develop a malignant brain tumor in their life time. (0.54% for females...that's a small %!!!)
2. It is extremely common for those who suffer health anxiety to believe that they have a brain tumor (and/or other malignancy) A very large number of anxiety sufferers are thinking the very same thoughts that you are having now.
Many of your symptoms can be attributed to stress. Without a doctor recommending that you have a cat scan, you would most likely be wasting time, money and energy. Even if you get over this fear by having the proof that no brain tumor was found...you could go on to develop another similar fear regarding your health.
Better to put your time, effort and resources into therapy, or at least self help.
If you need some recommendations for how to get started with either one...post back and let me know. I will be glad to help you!
Try not to worry, and enjoy your weekend.:)
Hugs and reassurance...you are fine!
