Jocipher, I am a 71 year old male suffer of PAD, (acronym for panic, anxiety, depression) I wasted half
my life struggling with this condition because there were not many good meds available and therapy
was crude at the least. Times have changed, there are many meds available and there are many different
kinds of therapy. You will not suffer as I did and that is good for all of us. As far as being your old self
I would hope that you will be even better, at least you will be in a position to offer help to others and
recognize people who's life is in distress. While you recover you will also mature, become much wiser, and
most certainly know that people who have PAD are not weak willed, unintelligent, or in some way defective. Quite the opposite in fact, the IQ of PAD sufferers is in the upper 10%, also we are more compassionate and understanding. You are on the way to Health and Wellness with your doctors, therapy, and Us!
