How wonderful that you have a new hubby!  ;)

I have been widowed for several years now, was married for 44 years.

When I met Sam, he did not like cats, now he is all over them, kissing them, cuddling with them at night, too funny.

I wouldn't be with someone that wouldn't accept my girls.  ;) We may get married one day.

We live in Riverside county, about 1 1/2 hour from Orange County, 1 hour north of San Diego.  Close to wine country.  We don't have a lot of bugs here, ha ha.  It s a small town, so have to drive to get to malls, etc.

Lots of retired folks here, we live in a 55 plus community, lots of nice people.  Lots of golfers.  The housing is much cheaper here, that is why we ended up here.  I haven't worked now since 2011 and trying to make it on social security which is very hard.  Sam still works and is gone a lot.

I think me being here alone so much gives me more time to think and worry about stuff too.

Hey there, I am actually in the wisconsin area =) !! I see you two have gotten into a cat conversation lol! I am glad you are finding things to talk about =) Hope you are hanging in there just fine!!

Wow everyone is far away from me.

I just finished the magnesium/citrate stuff, uck!

my stomach feels nauseated now, I tried to go, but only small movement, I am sure it will set in soon.

I hate too feel like this all night!

I am in California, see my post above where I tell about where I am. Oh, it set in alright, trying to drink some vegetable broth now. pretty tasty

Me,

That citrate stuff is really bad.  I think taking it before the 1 gal of stuff is over kill.

The cramping is awful. I am already sore and haven't even started the gal.

Sam has already left for the day, so I am alone again ;(  Hopefully my girl friend will be able to come over for a couple hours today.  I would like someone here just in case I have a bad reaction to the stuff.  I don't think I will.

I figure by tomorrow am, I will be so exhausted, I won't give a darn what they do to me!

Hopefully, I will get some energy in a couple hours.  This is the pits!

oh hugs (((((tummy))))) yeah it is the pitts, you are right. I think the whole prep is overkill. It's ridiculous, but we have no choice but to follow the directions. What time is your test tomorrow?

Me,I  just lost my entire post   smhair

I finally quit going about an hour ago.  It is already yellow and I haven't even started the other stuff yet.  I am dreading 1:00, especially if I start feeling crampy and ucky all over again. 

Jello is not to filling, omg I will be so empty by tomorrow. ;(

My appt is at 10 am, they told me to call first to make sure the Dr. is on schedule.

I told her I don't want to wait when I get there.  Afraid I will fall apart.  smhair

You won't fall apart, you'll be fine! As Els said, once you get there, they will take over and you'll just go with the flow of things. Tell them if you need something to calm you. They'll give you something if you tell them you need it, they won't want you to freak out on them. They will be very kind, you'll see, you'll be ok, you really will be.

No doubt tonight won't be fun, it never is, but tomorrow at around this time it'll all be over with. Just keep hanging on to that thought. That's what I do, whenever I've felt myself freaking, I just put myself mentally in the time of day the next day it'll be done and behind me at last. Does that make sense?

This thread is getting kind of glitchy for me too? I wonder if it's maybe so long it's hard to follow now?

Should we start a new thread maybe? It's up to you.

I will try to do that.  I know I looked at the clock, it is now 9:05 here so tomorrow at this time, I will be getting ready to go.....I am so hoping that my friend can come over today for awhile.  I hate being alone feeling like this.

Hey you know Lipton Chicken noodle in the envelope?  Just noodles and broth?

I wonder if I strained the noodles out if the broth would be ok.  It would be more filling that the stuff in the can (chicken broth).......I think it would work?

I washed my hair this am while on my break.  I know I won't feel like it later.

There are not that many posts here, so guess it can wait awhile.? yeah

I think if you strain everything out of the soup and just do a clear broth it's ok. But it's the same thing as the what you're already drinking then, isn't it?

Tummy, don't be like me in thinking that you're a bother to others. I'll bet that is how you feel, right? If you need someone to be with you, your girlfriend, daughter, Sam, you should just call them and say, "Hey, I really need some company today. I'm having a hard time being alone." Why don't you do that?

I need to call them and see if I can take Tylenol, I have a headache brewing..

Well, Sam is on the road again, my daughter works, and I think my friend will be coming.  If not, I will just have to be tough and get through it I guess.

My daughter just emailed me and said she and my grandson are driving out on Sunday to visit!  ;)    yah-hoooo.....happy dance cool Haven't seen her in so long.

Xmas I think.

I don't know about the tylenol, I would think it's ok, but yes, definitely check with them first. I'm not surprised you're getting a headache. I mean, it's not like you're going through stress or anything, right? ;)

That citrate stuff really did a number on me......felt like hell.

Sam didn't get home until late, so it was kindof scary.  And I am really hungry too!

I called and it is ok to do the Tylenol, thank God.

Oh, that Citrate is over kill for sure!   I am half way there and haven't even started the gross gallon......

I started the soup.  I am starving!

He had to drive clear to Bakersfield today, so he will be back, but I am sure it will be late ;;((

It's weird cause when I started drinking the prep, I was so hungry I didn't mind it. And it did make me feel full, but it didn't make me sick. Don't drink it too fast is what I might suggest because at first I did feel like, uh oh, it's gonna come back up. I mean it wasn't a terrible sensation and passed quickly, but, just don't gulp it.

I think you can chew gum, that might fool your stomach that you're eating.

The nurse said to do it slowly too, with a straw. I am putting crystal lite in it for some flavor. cold. How many hours did it take you?
were you running clear before the stuff was gone?

They wouldn't let me put anything for flavor, so that's good for you. I did use a straw too now that I think of it. It worked on me almost immediately and I wasn't really ever running that clear. But I guess I was cleaned out enough.

They say if it is light yellow, that is considered clear. I am just hoping that it does not make me as bad as that citrate stuff did.  I could hear my stomach making weird sounds before the trips to the to toilet.

Not fun ;(

well, the sounds are just the stuff working is what they told me. It'll all be behind you soon. (no pun intended) ;) What time tonight do you start the rest of the prep?

I have just started the gallon crap......doesn't taste too horrible, but weird.
My girl friend is coming over in about 30 minutes or so.
It is 1:00 here, so if I don't post a lot this afternoon you will know why.

Oh I'm so glad your friend is coming over! I figure you won't be posting a lot anyway, since you'll probably be on the toilet. Not to worry about posting! Enjoy your visit with your girlfriend! I'm glad you wont' be alone.
