I seen a breaking news statement that randy Travis is in hospital with a heart infection and automatically my thoughts go to " oh my Gosh I wonder if I have that " this disease sucks

I know...it is hard when we are bombarded by the media with shocking headlines...

Try and think conversely...about how many people who are NOT sick with heart infections.

Magical thinking...thinking that something can happen to you simply by suggestion does not make it become reality.

If you had read an article about the latest LOTTO winner would you automaticall think "Oh boy...I must be next!!"

Of course not....we only tend to worry and focus on the negative and scary stuff...but thinking about it and hearing about it can simply not make it happen.

I hope this helps put things in perspective a little.

I know how you feel I was feeling fine today until I realized all the side effects on the meds they prescribed me like suicidal thoughts and seizure my Reaction was what you have got to be kidding me I'm not taking that so now I'm thinking I'm gonna try getting through anxiety thru just CBT our a way low dose

I know about the medicine side affects. They put me on Zoloft last week and after looking at it I thought no way in Hell. I'm going at it without medicine too which is so much harder. But I just can't get past the fear of taking it

Oh how much it is a relief that someone is with me on this! The side effects are creepy and I said exactly what you said to hell with that... And my family medical history isn't good so it scares me my mom had extremely bad night mares on Zoloft and my aunt was seeing people on Prozac and she said it was like they held her down she couldn't move and also said she tried to commit suicide three times on meds we will both have to keep in contact on her to see how it goes with out meds

Kortnie I absolutely agree. My main symptoms today are not being able to breathe and dizziness. It feels like someone is trying to push me down by my head. It is so weird. My legs are so jello and I just feel weird

My symptoms today are a Lil numb headache dizzy and sharp pains in my chest but every time I feel it I try to move to not let it get to me my legs felt like they were gonna give out to and my throat feels a Lil tight

I also hope you get a Lil more sleep tonight I didn't sleep well either I was up every half hour I also have a fear of being alone.and I can't sleep in my beef so I make someone sleep on the other couch weird huh? Lol

I know how you feel! Yesterday I was watching my favorite show falling skies and the main characters heart stopped because they were doing a risky surgery to get an alien bug out of his body. I freaked a little bit but then got the image out of my head

I would like to share a little something with both of you about the heart, sharp pains are not your heart, I use to have them
and sometimes it would feel like a sword sticking through my body sometimes just sharp uncomfortable in ribs, back, ect.
but that inst even close, I will not tell you more, just be assured that you both are too young to worry. peace

I took zoloft for years&if I have it my way I will be back on it soon but higher then 100mcg,because I don't like the up&down celexa has me under&I didn't have this many problems with zoloft.
