feeling the urge to go to the bathroom but cant go with no pain stomach gas

I've been having diarrhea for the last 5 days I been taking ducolax balance I guess it made me get diarrhea I stopped taking it on day 3 because it turned my stools dark green and they are teary stools. Now I'm having the normal color stools but they are still teary they hurt my rectum I expirience no bleeding.my stomach cramps a little maybe because of diarrhea I don't know. Can someone help me. I also have gas and my stomach gurgle.

Are you taking any oral diabetic meds? Metformin will cause a lot of gas in the beginning.

Metformin is a diabetic med, but it is used off label for various things. I sometimes take it for PCOS - it also sometimes helps relieve my hormone related anxiety. I also used it during one of our many, many fertility attempts. lol

It was absolutely awful on my stomach - the doctor knew that when it was prescribed, but we were at a point where we were willing to try anything.

Are you on Metformin?
