hello everyone,
i suffer from major anxiety, but somehow i cope without medicine (not very well). most medicine makes me sick to my stomach because i also have GERD. today i was seen by my doctor for dizzy/nausea spells. i honestly thought she was going to tell me it's anxiety. it is not anxiety, my inner ear has fluid and my balance is off. she prescribed me zofran, nasonex, and a diuretic. all of those were fine with me. no side effects other than drowsiness. i am positively terrified of trying the meclizine she also described. i have an extreme irrational fear of vomiting. even though meclizine prevents nausea, it can also cause it. i am worried because last time i took benadryl, i took it intravenously and it made me so scared, anxious, hyper, and slightly nauseous that i had to be sedated. benadryl in pill form only makes me tired. also, last time i took dramamine, it didn't seem to work. has anyone had this issue? should i steer clear of meclizine? please help. i'm so freaked out right now.
