Try not to spend too much energy or time at grasping!
Anxiety kind of defies rationalization...
I can have a stressful situation that has seemingly no effect on me...and then later get some anxiety symptoms out of nowhere, when I am not the least bit stressed.
Conversely to your experience...I feel much more at ease in public, like the store or the mall, where I am distracted I guess...than at home, when I am anxious.
It is such a strange disorder...different for everyone, and often changing just as we get used to things going a certain way.
I think that a more constructive use of time is to use coping strategies to manage anxiety...rather than mental energy trying to figure it out.;p
