For years, except during extreme anxiety, of course, my bp has almost always been around 120/75.

Well, the last 2 days, its been about 106/67 and it's freaking me out. My heart rate is a tad lower as well. Usually it's about 80 or so. It's been no higher than 72.

I have health anxiety something awful, that's why I check it everyday. Blah! Y'all know how that goes...

Are the lower numbers recently something I should be concerned about or happy about? ....lol.

I don't feel any different.

I'm trying so hard not to google!

I should add, I'm a fairly healthy almost 40 year old woman. I need to loose about 30 pounds though. I drink and smoke occasionally.

I have read and been told that as long as you are not experiencing fainting spells, or feelings of overwhelming fatigue...lower BP and heart rate is desireable.

I run about what you do in BP (the lower one) and my resting heart rate is often in the 50's...but of course varies.

Have you started exercising recently?

No. Actually the opposite..lol.

I was walking my daughter to and from school everyday, but being it's summer, I've been pretty lazy.

Normal BP is 120/80 or below.  Desirable BP is Systolic from 90 - 119 and Diastolic from 60 - 79

 

Resting heart rate for your age is 60-78

Everyone's rates vary all day long but it appears to me like you are doing fine.

Spoiled, you know better than to check your BP too often don't you. Most people fluctuate quiet a bit
and all it will do is frustrate you. I went through all this years ago until my cardiologist told me I was nuts.
