Don't read this unless you want to be scared.

So a quick update before I get into this. I have been doing fine after that lawn mowing incident I have gotten back on my feet and running again:) and overall doing okay.

So I don't know if you guys have heard about this new bird flu? Well I watched a video on it and it's been hitting in parts of Asia but only 133 cases reported and can do human to human transfer. But this flu can be fatal because it can cause multi organ failure and is aggressive and is resistant to some antiviral medications and has to be caught within a couple days of the symptoms. Now no cases have been reported in the US as far as I can tell but now I'm freaked out about seeing and getting close to birds plus just a little more cautious. Scientist and doctors are paying close attention because it has the possibility for an epidemic but is in it's very early stages. And can only be caught by coming in direct contact with poultry or some birds idk the whole deal there and apparently between humans but I don't know how.

But now I'm just scared of birds because of this lol and I pray that this new flu doesn't become an epidemic.

Thanks Fox I will try it just seems like this kind of flu is alot more deadly than the swine flu so that's why I just worry about that now. I guess we will just see how things play out in the future.

The media's job is to sensationalize, and sell their product...the news.

That means that they will do everything that they can to grab our attention and make a buzz...thus ensuring that we watch, and increase ratings.

They will take a health story and blow it into and an epidemic.

Until I hear something from the CDC...I do not pay much attention.

Don't let sensationalism derail your anxiety management efforts!

It's going to be okay. Avoiding watching new stories like this is a good way to keep your triggers from being messed with!

It's kinda funny now I read about the flu and the symptoms and such and right now I have some aches and pains around my body and I have been having little headaches lately and just had a little diarrhea all symptoms of that flu well the pains are muscle pains but still isn't that a coincidence

I would want to stay away from that stuff haha I don't want to give my head anymore ideas haha.

Hey Joc, man thanks for fore warning about this rare bird flu. I was gona go outside today and fill my bird feeders and clean the bird feeders. NO way Jose.

I was worrying about going to town today. I read so many bad things happening around the world that I really think i better just stay home.

Do you remember when airplanes crash into houses. No wonder we are having such trauma just watching TV is enough to send us to major panic attack.

Well now you got me freaking out! I have chickens!!! LOL!

Just kidding. Still no worries here. I figure it this way.... When the good Lord is ready for me, it's not going to matter what I do to try and hide from it, he's gonna take me either way.

There have been many times during a severe panic attack (mostly the nocturnal ones), that I will say, "well, if it's my time God, just take me now or make this go away and let me get back to sleep." And guess what.... I wake up in the morning! ;)

You can't spend your life worrying about sickness and death. That's not living, it's just existing. Live for the moment and enjoy your family and friends. Carpe' Diem!
