I am an attorney and spend a considerable amount of time in court in front of a Judge, sometimes for hours at a time. I've had a few small attacks in court before, but not for awhile.
But today, there I was in front of the Judge, doing nothing particularly stressful. I start to feel slightly weird and my brain says "uh-oh, c'mon seriously? now?". It almost feels like a pot of boiling water that slowly is rising to overflow the pot no matter what I tell myself. So it overflows and I feel the familiar surge of nervousness cascade out to my limbs, feel shaky (even though I'm not shaking), and sort of out of body.
The good news is I just rode it out, kept telling myself absolutely nothing is/was wrong, this is going to pass, etc. and it did after maybe 2-3 minutes, like i was able to turn the burner off. But it feels SO WEIRD and uncomfortable. I hate it and wish these random things would stop.
Also, rest of the day have to deal with the adrenaline hangover.
