I'm going through a lot of stress right now, which tends to make my health anxiety flair up a lot. It's really annoying that I still can't figure out how to deal with stress in a better way.
For the past day or so my calf muscle has felt tight and cramped, and I'm extremely worried that it's a blood clot. I keep expecting it to break free at any moment and kill me. It's horrifying living like this. The only risk factor I have is living a pretty sedentary life, but I know realistically if it was that easy to get a blood clot from sitting around, I think it would be more common.
Still, this doesn't help! No amount of rationalization will convince my mind any different :/ I'm so tired of health anxiety.
Can anyone tell me if it's at all normal to have a slight cramp that won't go away? It feels tight when I walk, and when I try to stretch it out.. but other than that, it's more anxiety-provoking than actually painful..
I just want this stupid cramp to go away so I can move on with my life. I'm too embarrassed to call the doctor about this, even though I know I shouldn't be.
