Do Not Know What to Do...

In my maturity I have got with the program...

The family friend never called where as they got called me right back before.I was

And do not tell me to call again, if anything believe me I was quite clear.

This has been going on for for a too long.

And do not tell me to keep put myself out there, I have been doing this for too long.

Really when I look at myself, age and the stress of this is showing.

You same people who tell me to hang in there have regular jobs, not worried about falling months behind in your mortgage, some of you even like their work.

And then the endless interviews, lies and the repetitiveness - have you gone through that?

Would ask my dad to help, but like I said he lost touch with this guy time ago.

When I had my youth I wasted my appearance and energy on some small time job knocking out sales calls for a creep who after working for over 15 years
forced me out and gave me a lousy few hundred dollars severence.

I did it cause it was the easy and I could do my own thing - but now I realized the energy I spent with that sick creep who used to make up reasons to yell at his employees and curse at them was A waste of my time I could have used my talents to build a future and make real money- that was a baby's job.

Walk in my shoes , and then say this.

Really, the same person who told me to do this and that when I used a analogy to convey to them to do the same thing - they said never.

When does it stop- when I lose my house?

Thank you for your responses, it means so much.

Scaredy Cat, your support I really appreciate, and although we have never
met I consider you a friend.

I was just talking to someone regarding regarding selling a financial product
and I swear I must have said the same things a million times before.

What is remarkable is even though I have clearly and concisely stated my objectives
to them a number of times before, they will give me a non- sensical response.

For instance I'm told, " you should speak to Mr.Smith regarding this", after I repeatedly clarified that they handle it.

I will then say, "well you said you are responsible for that , correct?"

"Yes"....... Huh?

After the while the repetition and the fact that they forget our previous correspondence drives me nuts, wastes my time and produces no money.

At this point I am more feel like I am wasting my talents then frustration.
And after a certain point in time- you would have to be nuts to tolerate.


The irony of it was previously when I was working I did not have to" jump through hoops",so to speak , deal with this nonsense, and although was not thrilled with my work,and at least had a nice paycheck that covered my expenses and then some.

I would like to go back to school, but what if I sill can not land a job after all that work?
I would be going for my Masters, but as that is no guarantee, would like to find a program
that will put me into a decent job. And nothing against these jobs, but I am not talking about
Medical Billing or Assistant. After having a good job I want something of similar status but would take a step back for a reliable paycheck without this nonsense.


marketing financial services is a drain.


When I go to other professionals you never see them have to go out of their
way in the manner I do, it gets old.


Scaredy Cat, the previous Ghost was a slacker, did much better, and ironically
worked much less.


I want to know -Does any of you in our forum believe in Karma and that I am getting now what I deserve - cause I was paid pretty well for not really working hard?

So now I am trying much harder and having a hard time.
