Kitt's CEA tumor Marker continues to rise

Dear Friends,

I had chemo yesterday afternoon as somebody else needed my usual time slot which is 10:00 AM on Tuesdays so I am not feeling the best today.  My CEA tumor marker hit the 3 digits this week = 124.  That is up 30 points from 3 weeks ago and scares me as it basically means my chemo is not working as noted by my CT Scan from last week. (Normal CEA is 0-5 ) So back to the drawing board to make some new witches brew........................... skull

Feeling sad and confused by all that is spinning in my mind but promise to get back on track by tomorrow.

I, too, shall pray.  More, harder, deeply.

You are always there for us, I'm beside myself with how thoughtful and considerate you are.  Please know that so many of us feel you have touched our lives so deeply.

I wish there was something more I could do for you.  I feel helpless.  You've been such a kind and supportive friend, always there with gentle encouragement and great insight.

My heart skipped a few beats as I read your post....

Our dear Friend, I pray for you, I pray they find a new witch's brew that kicks this thing.  Please, let the next cocktail be the one that shows favourable response.

I am sending all my love to you. I hope that you feel better and that all of your next tests and dosages come back to have cleared away all the nasties in your body for good. I hope you will keep us up to date on all that you are going through. Peace and love hun.

I am so sorry to hear of this happening,....

....on the flip side, it warms my heart to see so many of us here who have your back, reaching out, praying, wanting and wishing we could do more, do something, anything, to help you out.

You've been a guardian angel to so many of us.  It hurts to see you going through this.  I'm glad that you have a very loving, very caring, and expansive network of people who care so much for you and about you.

Please keep us posted, (AS you feel up to it).  Know we love you lots!

Dear Friends and Peers,

Thank you for your support.  I am feeling a bit less than 100% today but I must keep on moving as I leave on Monday to visit my son for 3 days.  I am flying alone which never caused me any anxiety before but I am letting my mind niggle away at what if I should get sick..................on....the ..plane?  "Stinkin Thinkin"

 

This is one of the major items on my Bucket List so Monday I will sail out the door. So if you should look up in the sky and you notice a silver silhouette against the azure blue sky Monday afternoon, that may be my plane flying south for my one on one time with my oldest son, John.

As you offer prayers to help me, I want you to know as I read all of your posts here in the forum, I always say a little prayer that you are able to find some peace when your anxiety is on a ramage.

I will be home alone over the weekend so I will be with all of you ASAP.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Thanks SC,  I just called you but I am betting you are twirling around the dance floor somewhere. 

I so wish we lived closer - granddaughter was in LA a couple of weeks ago at the Doberman National's and of course she fell in love with the weather - but we have to keep her home here with all of us.

The anxiety continues to be a battle every day but I work hard at keeping it from knocking me down.  Chemo Days are still tough and now the Drs. want to add a new medications mad

I will be around this weekend but gone next week during the week.

I was out running errands and missed you.;(

I am about to go get Eva as she returns from Science Camp. (the six grade class left Tues)

...and then I have classes this afternoon.

I am going to try you tomorrow around 1:30 my time (3:30 for you?) I hope that works. I would like to talk before your trip.:)

I read your posts and feel so foolish acting the way I do. I panic and become anxious about things that haven't occurred and may never happen. And you're here with real issues needing our support. I'm with you always in thoughts and prayers. Words can't express how thankful I am for you and all you give us in the face of your own problems. You are never at a loss for thoughtful words, support and an out reaching of love for strangers. May God bless you now and always. My prayers are always with you as you continue your fight. I only hope one day to be half the person you are.
