I agree...but often find myself wanting to use phrases like 'battling anxiety', ect...
I think that fighting the anxiety should include using resources available to you, be it therapy, coping skills and/or medicaiton.
In other words, being proactive in finding things that manage your disorder.
...but in the context that you are referring to...you are right, in that accepting the feelings on anxiety, rather than fighting against them is spot on! Doing anything other than this often just escalates the panic.
