I have chronic headaches as well.
They can be from neck tension...which stems from anxiety, stress, grief...all of the things that you have been experiencing.
Here is link to some excellent stress relief exercises. The progressive muscle relaxation (focusing on neck/shoulders and upper body) should really help.
