Funny thing about
anxiety is that symptoms only show up whenever we are consciously or subconsciously aware we are under a threat that doesn't really exist which is unfortunately when we're awake. Like you've said, when you sleep and relax the symptoms goes away. So the key here to keep your body and mind relaxed and free from worries, believe me it's not an easy task but you have to keep yourself sufficiently motivated to reach challenging goals. But once you've tried and didn't give up, you'll eventually cope well after you get used to more positive thoughts or healthy thinking. You'll start to feel less aggravated and some weird symptoms will lessen or go away. When my anxiety was high and I didn't know that it was anxiety causing all of it (thinking I'm dying from a serious health condition) I also had the symptoms you've mentioned such as panic attacks, chest tightness, rapid heart rate, sweaty hands/neck/feet, burning sensation on the face, feels like I'm always tired, chest pains, heaviness on the head and neck, inner tremors especially on my legs and hips (sometimes on my neck), twitching/jerking (abdomen, chest) especially when I try to lay down and relax and I also started to think I was going crazy when I finally knew about
anxiety mostly because it has something to do about
how we over think and overreact to things that we normally shouldn't worry about
. I started to question my sanity but it only gave me more stress.
Days passed by, with the help and advises of the people here, I started to free myself from thinking I was going mad or crazy and that I was terminally ill and about
to die. Then I began to feel better and have some good days back again. It's been a roller coaster ride with a series of ups and downs, my symptoms eventually subsided, some of it went away, some comes back whenever I'm anxious. I didn't give up and hopefully never will. I became more close and thankful to God for the extra day He gives me even despite having a bad day with anxiety.
Hope all of you guys are having a good day! Let's keep the fight going!
