Had a surgical procedure 3-4-14 yesterday I woke up with really bad abdominal pain went to er they did a pelvic exam and an ultrasound and diagnosed me with endometritis and gave me flagyl I'm just scared this isnt gonna help and I'm gonna get septic shock and die I'm so scared and hate taking antibiotics cry smhair skull

Thank you for your reply.. Yes it was done in a clinic that has been doing it for 30 yrs or more. The flagyl wouldn't be so bad if it didn't make me feel worse (I'll) after taking it! But I'm willing to do whatever it takes to get this infection gone! Any suggestions on good probiotics?

I feel a little bit better today.. I a lot of the side effects of the flagyl has gone but still feel horrible at the same time. But I guess that's what this medicine does :( I go tomorrow morning for a check up hope she tells me I don't have to take the antibiotic anymore even though it'll only be three days of taking it!

Hey Kortnie! Glad you are feeling better. Please make sure to take the whole prescription of Flagyl, unless directed otherwise by your doctor. If you don't, you are just leaving the super strong ones around and you could have an even worse infection. Not to scare you, I just don't want you to have any more problems!! And, like others have said, probiotics are great right now. Even lots of yogurt will help. Take care of yourself.

Thanks Miss! I will continue to take it if she tells me tomorrow that I can't stop it which I hope she says there's no infection that I can stop it the headache and other bad side effects are nasty :'( I dot ever want to take this medicine again

I quit taking the flagyl last night and feel a little better today I'm at the doctors office right now waiting to see what she has to say

Nope no more flagyl (thank god) and no other antibiotic.. And even the after effect of taking the flagyl or HORRIBLE I recommend this antibiotic to... NOBODY

I'm not sure if it's because of the antibiotic or my anxiety but my ear is clogged and I can't hear barley it only one ear :(
