Sparky,Jumping to conclusions is a type of distorted thinking in which an individual assumes something is negative even if there is no reason to assume this negativity.
I am guilty of jumping to conclusions - my mind wants to make more or less of something that is no justified. I will assume and outcome is going to be bad or someone is mad at me without any concrete evidence.
This is where staying in the moment is the best thing to do. Trying to read other peoples minds should be saved for the Carnival Psychic................
When someone jumps to a negative conclusion due to an unfounded belief that things will end poorly, that type of distorted thinking is known as "Fortune Telling".
Kick that "stinkin thinkin" to the curb and practice dealing in facts you know to be true.
Kindly,
Kitt
