Hi I'm new here, although I do have a sneak peek at the threads for advice sometimes. I guess I'm just lost right now, I feel like my minds against me. I get panic episodes and I can't sleep AT ALL! I fixate on things that go wrong in my life and I'm constantly exhausted. I have problems with controlling my moods and this could end up with me curled up in bed all day never wanting to leave. The worst part is that I have thoughts of ending my life - rarely - but it does occur... Sometimes I don't understand why. Nothing's particularly wrong in my life, and I just feel worthless and ungrateful for the life I've been given. Sorry about the long paragraph! Thanks in advance for any replies...

Support groups have long offered companionship and information for people coping with diseases or disabilities, and online situational oriented groups have expanded to offer support for members facing various life circumstances.  Welcome to HealingWell and the Anxiety and Panic Forum. 

I am going to request that you make an appointment to see you Dr. re what is going on with you right now.  Because you do have thoughts of self-harm I will ask that you share this with your Dr. Discussing self-harm in the forum as taboo and we are not professionals but peers.

I am also posting emergency info here for you which we do for everyone that has let us know that they have thoughts of harming themselves.

Hi am also new i have huge anxiety feelin like am gunny drop dead even tho am prob not n e thing that goes wrong in my body i automatically think this lol feel so silly on meds which a wish i wasnt as am only young n have 2 children, feelin awful at minute cant wait for it to go away. Sophia i no how you feel but theres always hope x

Hi Sophia and xogemxo too. There are a lot of people here who suffer with health anxiety so we know how you feel. Everyone here is so supportive. I have a lot of problems with mood as well.

Sophia, as long as there is life in you there is hope for a return to a healthy and happy life, there are hundreds of us here and
we totally understand, STKit is an Angel please take her advice
to heart and see a Dr.
Then stay with us, we care and there are no phoneys here.

Hello to the newer ones. We all have some good days and bad days. I myself have health anxiety, and I truly believe I helped create this by worrying to much. Unfortunately the physical symptoms become real. In turn it makes my anxiety worse. I find a lot of comfort through this forum, and it's members. I am really doing good these days by telling myself I am okay, and I have felt these feelings before. I keep pushing daily and fighting myself. Best wishes to you all and stay aboard, you will learn a lot .

Stay strong for you and kids, can't imagine the struggle. It's so good to know that someone understands - that we aren't the only ones! Anxiety is just the worst feeling, but hopefully the love from your kids keep you strong x

Thanks a lot, so nice to see such friendly, helpful people on here - it really makes me smile! I guess it's just such a consuming and overwhelming feeling, it's as if I can't even control my own head.

Such a lovely reply. So nice to find genuinely kind people. Thank you so much, sometimes I can't control the bad thoughts, drives me insane. Have no idea why I think this way, I wish the anxiety wouldn't consume me.

I feel the same! I really feel like everhthings my fault sometimes. If you're pushing and fighting, then so will I! I'll try to tell myself that it's okay and be confident with it. Thanks so much x

I don't mean we're to blame, it's not our fault. I mean I made my anxiety worse. I believe we have so many physical symptoms that we can't explain, so we worry over them and always assume the worst.. I try not to fear them now, and tell myself that my anxiety is to blame. Some days that doesn't work, especially when I develop something new. Please hang in there you will learn to come to terms with anxiety.
