Oddly enough, no! (Funny, that, eh?) I mean, I assume you're "doing weights" for your whole body, upper and lower and core,....correct? And you're asking if it would help to "do more" weight with the left to get it "caught up?" (That's what I am guessing you're asking, so I'm answering based on that) :)
A lot of people ask that and some try to do just that, thinking they can exercise it specifically into being even. But the body doesn't work that way. It's the strangest thing, because I know that sounds logical, right?
The honest to goodness best course is to continue to do your whole body strength training evenly...especially since you just started up.
Do you have a program of exercise and what order to do them in or how you do them?
Sometimes this plays a factor....
But yep, odd as it may be, just keep things on an even keel....
