I have been the same way for as long as I can remember. I dislike the sun, the morning, heat, bright lights, summer, all that stuff....
I prefer night time, cloudy, overcast, dark, rainy, stormy weather, and I love the snow and Winter.
I've been told things like I'll "get over it" once I train my body otherwise (such as when I had to arrive at work around 4:30am/4:45am to open the club and get it ready for 5:00am)....Years of this and still....nope.
Not having any of it.
Sure, my family all thinks I'm a little nutty, but you know, the older I get the more I'm coming to accept that this is part of who I am. Some of us just simply are not morning people,....(or sun-people, or warm-weather people, etc.)
It's variety that makes the world go around!
If you use the search feature and type in "morning anxiety" you will probably feel more at ease when you see just how common this is. So many of us find that morning is a big trigger as our physiology jumpstarts to get us going.
