Kitt's out of surgery!

This was posted recently on Caring Bridge by her Daughter, Karen.



HI Everyone, this is Karen, Mary's oldest daughter, oh yea that is right I am her only daughter.
Just sitting in the waiting room now after the doctors came out to tell us mom's procedure went well today.
They were able to remove the clot today, and everything went well. There was one little piece that did get away, but the doctor does not seem to be worried about it, and will keep an eye on it.
Sounds like mom will have to remain on blood thinners for a while longer, pretty sure she is not going to be happy to hear that when she wakes up. Getting shots in the stomach is not very much fun.
As we learn more, my brother mike or myself will keep you posted as the day goes on.
Thank you so much for all the prayers, they are working so far!

That is great news. And even though she needs to keep up the meds for a little while, the important thing to remember is the surgery was a success. Our prayers were heard!
