With a tight throat, is it possible...

...To have a tight throat all day but feel it in different ways? This morning and the last 2 evenings I've had a lump in my throat sensation but this only begins when there is no mucus clogging my throat. When mucus is present, I feel breathless and lightheaded/loose in the kaw and head unless I clear it, and dysphagia occurs. And sometimes my entire neck region feels extra tight, in which case neither of the above things occur for a while.

Sorry if this is confusing to read, it's confusing to cope with for sure..!

Yes, most doctors write me off with anxiety due to my aspergers history, and my specialist calls it aerophagis because he's out of options. I dob't believe either to be honest right now.

I have felt basically the same symptom in different ways at different times...so I think I know what you are describing.:(

Are you going to have a re-test on your spit test (as per your previous post's update) now that you know that your tap water might have altered the results?

If so, I wish you luck...and the outcome that you need to move forward with your treatment!

I'd like to but I simply can't afford it, as well as other more personal reasons. I'd need to repeat it at least 3 times to be satisfied witg a negative outcome, and I doubt it'll be negative this time. Meanwhile I'm struggling to breath or swallow and I keep saying "Help me" out loud when I can. There is no way I can live a full life like this; I need my doctors and family to understand that. I need them to understand why I'm suffering so much and have them accept that when I can't hold onto hope any longer, I will probably want to...
