No, you def don't have too much time on your hands LOL. I did social work for many years. I was laid off for a 2nd time in 2009 & looked for about
9 months for another job. After not much luck, hubby and I decided I'd stay home & be a homemaker (with no kids! LOL). It was nice for several years bc I had the freedom to go and stay with my mom when I wanted (she's 77 now. Dad passed in 2008), and visit my sisters and & other family in friends that all live in my hometown. I also had homemaker friends in the city I live in whom I hung out with. ALL of those friends, 3 of them, moved in the past year. One was my BFF and she moved 2 weeks ago. They're all 2+ hours away now
I've thought abt getting back into social work but I'm not sure my emotions are ready for that. I've considered a part time cashier job at our local Fresh Market. I was a cashier 20 yrs ago when I was in college and LOVED it lol! I love grocery stores?! haha. Hubby says do anything that makes you happy. I know I'm very blessed to have an "easy" life but as you know, we could "have it all" but if we struggle with depression & anxiety, it can be a real challenge. Depression & anxiety don't discriminate.
Where do you live? I'm in NE Indiana.
I just love the support here & thank you all so much.
Hugs,
Lisa
