Hello all

I told you that I would keep you posted on my journey. Today we had a company picnic. I dreaded going because I haven't left my house in quite awhile. But I am so glad I did because it turned out to be a wonderful day!

I got to mingle with my employees and meet the ones whom I had never met. We had a DJ there playing music, we played corn hole and ate like kings and queens.

I want to thank all of you for your support and encouragement. Scaredycat you hold a special place in my heart as you were the very first person to respond to my very first post and brought me hope and encouragement when I needed it most! So thank you! Merrida, you are great too and we are so lucky to have you here. Everyone on here has been a blessing to me

I am hoping and praying for more days like today. I even passed football and no chest pain or anxiety all day. Energy level was up....


God is good!

Cornell, that is fantastic!! I am overjoyed to read your post! It does wonders when a day like this comes around. You deserve it so much. Just so happy for you. Thanks for sharing!! :)

That is great news.. Glad you went and had fun. Sometimes we have to just say I'm going to do something that I want to do. Our anxieties can keep us from enjoying life. Glad you didn't let it keep you from having a good day.😀😀😀

I can't thank you all enough. I feel like each one of you is a friend. When I come on here, it is so refreshing and comforting to see all the same names. You guys are dedicated, no doubt!

Xj975, it is very nice to meet you! You just stumbled into the worlds best anxiety forum. I come on here and I find as am reading through the posts and responding that my anxiety slowly but surely fades down to a manageable level. Hope you stay on here and continue to post. I promise you won't regret it. And thank you for your encouragement!

This is the happiest of news!!!  AWESOME job!!!

I am so happy and proud of you!  If you had asked if I thought you could do this...I would have answered with a resounding YES! (and just for the record I would've been right;p...but this is about YOU!)

Now when facing a similar challenge, you can pull from this experience and know that you can do it again!

You have been such a welcome addition to our forum.  Your caring, encouragment and support to all of the other members is so appreciated.  We are fortunate to have  you here among us.:)

The truth is, things do get better with time. As anxious people, 1 minute can seem like an eternity, let alone "waiting" for it to pass for days, weeks, months, years.

For me, in my journey, one thing I've become aware of is to stay busy/active no matter how I'm feeling. If that means scrubbing my dirty baseboards in my home or forcing myself to go to a function Id rather not. I've actually done more things this year in my storm than I did before this struggle started in February! Go figure lol.
