Sometimes we need help from outside sources to build up our confidence to fully apply ourselves to be able to do the coping skills. Most of the skills listed in our Resources are pretty simple and straight forward, they all work, they all take practice, and....they all need to be practiced every day (not just 'during' an event) for maximum benefit.
Depending on what (name and type) of "natural supplement" you're looking for....remember, just because it's natural does not mean it's safe. Poison ivy is natural too....
So do tread with caution.
Ask your doc about some of those that have been around a lot longer, such as Rescue Remedy, Calms Forte, the powdered magnesium you make into a tea.....
Be wary of herbs as they can interact with meds you're on and a number of other functions within your body.
I think there's a balance to be had between mind-body connection, between Western-Eastern medicine.
Perhaps consider visiting a D.O. or a Naturopath?
