We could almost have a sticky about the "morning anxiety" stuff! I would hazard a guess that most of us have posted about this, too, so you're not alone in that one bit! I know that doesn't make it go away, but it does help to know there are others (lots others!) out there who get it too, and to know you're not alone.
It can be jolting and jarring and alarming all rolled into one big wake-me-up! I still get them...
As far as set-backs, this is something I'm working on at the moment as well. We need to retrain our brains, I believe, to understand and accept that a bad day, or several bad days, doesn't undo all the good days and good things that came before. It's like having a cold. You get sick, but you get over it, and you're healthy again.
Now to have a similar (mental) approach when we have our hiccup days.....this too shall pass.
