I just started my lipitor for genetic high cholestrol about
a month ago and have to stop due to horrible pains in body, neck and shoulder aches and anxiety. Now I don't know what to do, I have tryed all statins on the market and just can't take it.

I'm sorry Deb! This is a big fear of mine. My cholesterol is borderline but high cholesterol runs in my family. I'm trying now to really start making dietary changes and begin exercising to avoid dealing with the statin battle, but we'll see if it helps. My dad couldn't tolerate them either and ended up having to make some serious lifestyle changes. I'm not sure how his numbers are now, but I know he's dropped a ton of weight

Deb, please check this out. You can read the book free online.

D.S.
Can you have your doctor do some research on alternative Rx's? There has got to be something else...
Sorry this has been rough!

Deb,
Try this one. It is by a respected cardiologist.
