Kitt's Tribute

My heart, thoughts and prayers go out to Kitt's family. She was such a wonderful lady and helped so many, myself included, through this forum, while she bravely dealt with so much herself. While I am so sad that she's gone, I'm just as happy that she is pain free and no longer suffering. RIP Kitt. You are loved and missed dearly!

Oh gosh...today is rough...I miss you so much Kitt Katt!

I remember last winter. We were planning a trip to see my in-laws in Maine. I got the crazy idea to come see you on the way back!

I told you about it...and we made the plans.:)

I departed from my husband and daughter on the return flight back from Maine. They were headed home...and I was headed to see you! No blizzard could keep me away from our girl's weekend.:)

We met up at the Mall of America/Radisson...and though we had never met in person...we were immediate friends for life.

We had such fun shopping, eating, telling stories and sharing our history, opinions, secrets...all the good bad and in between of our lifes.

I am so glad that I took this opportunity to meet you in person. Looking back on it now...I know that it was a divine gift.

I had hoped to do more of these weekends...but I am grateful for the time we did share!!!

...and know that it will be an amazing reunion in Heaven for us one day.

Add me to the list. Kitt has always held my hand. Add me to this list, Kitt was my mentor. She knew what to say, when and how. We've spoken on the phone and exchanged oodles of snail mail....words can't describe what a special personal she's been to so many of us.

She helped me along, she showed me a kind and gentle side to life that softened me around the edges.

I know that Karen said she was in a lot of pain towards the end, so I'm thankful that she is released from that burden. Always an Angel here on Earth and especially here at HW (among many places), I firmly believe she got her promotion, and is an Angel above.....official title, plaque on her desk, bigger wings and shinier halo.

I love you Kitt with all my heart and soul. Thank you God for giving us the gift that is Kitt to touch our lives. I feel blessed to be brushed by her wings, and for each gentle pat on the back and guiding force.

I just wanted to say that she answered one of my first post. She was such a beautiful light and I know she helped so many of us on here. She was an angel on earth. Now she is an angel above us looking down at us all and hoping we succeed with this fight of depression and anxiety.

yes SC you do an amazing job and are always there for everyone. i appreciate you so much! and i appreciated kitt so much too. i remember once when she gave me advice i took her "to the point" advice defensively and i think we are/were a lot alike in our stubbornness. we talked and understood each other better but i loved her so much and all of her understanding and professional advice and even her sharing her similar stories.

i will miss her dearly. she was a great person, educator and friend. hugs to the moon and back kitt!!!! <3

Kitt was a wonderful person.  She was always there with support and advice putting her own struggles aside to help someone else.  I can't count the number of times she responded to my posts and help dig me out of my anxiety ridden hole.  I always felt bad that there was nothing I could do for her.  It's comforting to know she's no longer at pain and is in peace.  Heaven is lucky to get someone like her! 

Kitt - your Love and Light was felt far and wide. We will miss your warmheartedness and ability to reach into each and every one of us to ease our fears and calm our nerves - even when your own must have been stretched to the limit. Much love goes out to your family in this difficult time, and all the souls have all been touched by your heart feeling the sorrow. Kitt, may you continue on with your wondrous gifts on the other side of this life.

Today this is bringing me some peace...

Kitt's favorite color was RED...

...so I am imagining her room in the Mansion being done up all in beautiful shades of crimson, with a beautiful red ruby chandelier, tufted bed with a mountain of soft pillows, grand velveteen valance draperies and gorgeous red roses all around for her to enjoy whenever she retreats from the huge party that is always going on in Heaven.

Yeah...this is how I am seeing her today. :)

My sincere condolences to Kitt's family and friends. She always helped me out when I had problems here and was so supportive when we lost our senior Hep Mod not so long ago. Sad times...but a life lived well. ML
