Hi Deborah,
I think a lot of us know exactly how you feel. Lisa helped me a lot by suggesting this sounded like Depersonalization... and I know that is 'it' at times... at other times it seems to defy any and all descript
ion and yet I know good and well it IS "ME"... and I could easily just get angry and hate it... not saying that is 'wrong'...but it works best along the lines of what Scaredy Cat was saying ... I do my best to repeat to myself that I am in the NOW--RIGHT NOW< HERE AND NOW...(because the cause of these feelings stems from either the past or fear of the future, even though we can't name or label exactly what is IS) and that regardless of how weird the feelings) this, too, shall pass... hard to believe sometimes! :) but it DOES... MY 'worst' times are mornings... so I usually get out, go to the coffee shop and just mix with other people. This helps me. I know not everybody is able to do this ... so I am grateful I can.
Good luck to you. I think it helps to know others DO know how you feel.
I hope you have a good weekend, Deborah.
Love,
Bettsann
