Anyone's face get really hot when they're mid anxiety attack? My cheeks get so red and flushed and I feel so warm. Just finished eating with mom. Found out I have a paper due tomorrow- what type of professor assigns that on thanksgiving! I'll be writing it soon but just got a wave of random anxiety. How's everyone else doing

You were just assigned the paper and it's due tomorrow? Your teacher must be lonely like me.

I think I've gotten flushed when anxious. I'd say it's common.

Sorry you're feeling lonely; and sorry about yoyr nausea. Did you have more to eat than just tootsie rolls and cashews?
Is there a friend or someone you can call or see to distract you? Or maybe a good movie?

now ill answer your post.. yes every time I have anxiety I get so hot!!! and my face turns red.. I get an ice bag and put on usually the front of my neck for awhile.. Im not sure if its the cold that helps or something else to focus on.. If i was home and not at my mother in laws Id have my ice bag.. to embarrassed to ask for something at her house though.

Today I've had some chips. Yogurt was for breakfast. I never learn my lesson.

I'm hoping this football game will keep my mind off it.

No turkey or something hearty? Does the anxiety decrease your appetite?
Doing ok now. Talked myself out of a full blown panic attack.

I hide in my room on the weekends. My mom's male friend is always over and it makes me uncomfortable. He's nice and all, but no one is my father but my father whom has been in Heaven for a year.

I had nothing hearty today.

I'm unsure if it decreases my appetite. I fill up pretty easily these days. I've felt full to the max all day. There's good food here, too.

The nausea has wavered some, but I still feel bad. Stomach is aggravated.

You talked yourself out of it? Wonderful!

It snowed a little last night. And there?

My face becomes flushed when I'm getting extremely mentally uncomfortable or agitated. I can feel the heat and it tips me off that I'm near the edge. Im not sure but it might be an indication my blood pressure is rising.

No snow here in Los Angeles. An 85 degree Thanksgiving we had today!
Luckily I cooled down once I got distracted with a holiday movie.
John, maybe try to make yourself have something a little heartier. Sometimes a good meal is the trick to anything. Empty stomachs are absolutely no fun at all. I didn't feel like eating dinner tonight but forced myself to eat everything on my plate, and it made me feel immensely better.

Hi Blu's!

I do get flushed when I am about to go into an anxiety attack or am really anxious. My mom knows when I'm about to go into one because she says I look pale and my cheeks are pretty red. To me, it feels like my cheeks are hot and feel like my forehead starts sweating. I'm sorry you had a writing assignment on Thanksgiving, that stinks. I'm doing well, I hope you are too.
