Temporary memory loss with anxiety is normal. We get overwhelmed with dealing with stress and the management thereof...and something has to give...and sometimes it is a name or important number/date/fact, ect... that we should know!
We get panicked about not being able to recall something, and the memory gets even more inhibited, and on and on.
If you had given it some time, taken somed deep breaths and been able to decompress for awhile, that name would have come to you...for sure.
No worries...just keep up your coping skills to keep your overall anxiety levels as low as possible.:)
