Anxiety Today

Not having a great anxiety day...had a coffee this morning and I think that started it. On top of that I didn't sleep well last night and woke up with aches and pains throughout my back and chest.
Checked my blood pressure/heart rate, BP was normal but heart rate was 104. I've been trying to calm down since I got home but can't seem to shake this feeling.

To top it all off I missed a call from my gyno, they left a message to call first thing in the morning so I won't have my results until tomorrow, thing is I have an ovarian cyst and I had a follow up last Friday to see if it's still there. The nurse that left the message said that if the doctor can leave a detailed message I should let the front desk know...so now I'm really scared that something is wrong or that the cyst is still there, so many thoughts just rushing through my head. UGH!

Sorry for being all over the place, just needed to vent.

Hey girl this is Larry, i want to tell you a story that should make you feel better, back in 1967 my wife was sick all the time, fevers, pain in side. then she got pregnant. was fine until the sixth month we went to the doctors office and he was sure she had appendicitis, the doctors were worried about our baby and
my wife. The surgery was much longer than it was suppose to be when the doctor came out i was scared, he told me she didnt have appendicitis, she had a cyst on the tube of yer ovary, THey removed the ovary, cyst, and the appendices her and my baby were fine, it was considered rare in those days to have such an cyst, hear a lot about them now days. That was my Daughters birth day December 12, 1967 she is fine and so is my wife. You will be fine, i think they treat these with antibiotics now days. Peace

Try some calming techniques and hopefully you will get a good night sleep.

Hopefully you hear good results in the morning.

Thanks Jennings, I really need to work on my calming techniques...I did end up taking a hot bath and it helped me calm down a bit. Still achy though.
Larry, good to know everything turned out well with your wife and daughter, thank you for the story and your kind words.

You know the detailed message could just as easily be explaining that your cyst is shrunk, or gone...but they want to do a follow up in 6 months...procedure
..yada yada...;)

I hope you can rest tonight, put it out of your mind...and get your answers tomorrow. It will be alright.:)
