I suggest you read the book "From Panic to Power" by Lucinda Basset. She talks very directly about her experience with travel anxiety and gives you the words to overcome them. Think of all the beautiful experiences anxiety is robbing you of. So many things that you want that you won't have because of a silly feeling telling you that you shouldn't have it. With or without anxiety, you can do anything that you want to. With travel, anxiety suffers often mistake being excited for being nervous because think about it, they actually feel the same. The only difference is your reaction to those feelings. If you are in a negative mindset you will think "oh my god, something is going to happen and I won't make it through my trip without panicking" when you have a positive mind your thoughts are more like "oh my god I can't wait for this life experience that not many people get to have!" The power of the mind goes both ways, you can challenge your feelings of dread by thinking you should not be feeling them, or you can accept them and change your perception.
I was where you are now a couple of months ago, and reading is what brought me through it. But not letting anxiety hold you back is the first step in breaking down this seemingly unbreakable wall. I've done it, you can do it, anyone can do it. Read the book, it might change your life.
