Well, I spit up red again this morning. Today, I'm going to attempt to not consume anything with red dyes and see what happens tomorrow morning. Is it possibly the red dyes? I can't find anything on Google about it.

My GI appointment is still weeks away.

Oh! Dyes impact stool so maybe they are impacting what you spit up too. Very interesting. Share your results.

My 5 year old ate a really bright snocone last year and the next day her poop looked like she are a leprechaun. It was neon green. Crayola green. Dye in our food can affect everything. Good thoughts to you:) im sure your fine.

But I also wonder why I wouldn't spit up green or any other color if I consume foods of those colors.

I've noticed white which I attribute to dehydration. Occasionally it's grayish which sadly I read is associated with reflux. I've also seen red as stated before. Some pink.

I had a sore throat last night, so I ate some black cherry cough drops. It was late. So maybe.

I port redundant stuff all the time because I have a specific set of worries most of the time. Don't worry.

It wouldn't shock me if the cough drop is your culprit, but I only play a doctor online. ;-)

My husband spits stuff up every morning in the shower. Every. Single. Morning.

I usually spit up before my shower. Then I'm dying to blow my nose after the shower. LOL.

I am wondering still if it is drainage from your nose? If you blow your nose is there ever blood?

I sometimes get this in cold/dry weather...and it could be going down your throat from your nasal passages while you are sleeping.

I also think that the cough drops were probably to blame last night!

Let us know what you notice with your experiment.
