Anyone know if these are related? My heart rate hovered around 103 the whole flight with quite a few dramatic palps and I didn't even feel anxious.

You were probably anxious even though you didn't feel it. I wouldn't worry about
it. If it doesn't calm down soon you can call you dr, but I'm sure he will say you are fine. :) Hope you had a excellent trip and welcome home.

Glad your heart rate is back down. Have a great flight (both of you) and welcome back to the COLD! :)

We went from 85 yesterday to 40 here in Chicago. Ugh. Why do we live here!?

Thanks, M. Can't wait to lay in bed tonight and just relax. Been feeling really anxious and paying too much attention to my heart, so I just want to relax.

Well, 40 isn't to bad considering what it could be this time of year! :) It was 40 here today too. We don't even have much snow. Although, I think we are supposed to get some tonight.

Yeah, no kidding! We're supposed to get some tonight too. The little guy went from saying he wanted to build sand castles to snowmen pretty quick!

Could be dysrythmia from jet lag. I think I've heard that, don't know for sure though. Also probably some anxious energy on top of that.

My heart rate increases on flights too. And I take xanax. I think its caused by the unconscious knowledge we have no control and that someone else is safeguarding our well being. Hopefully you're fine now
Park12: I'm from Chicago. It was nice to get up this morning and realize the snow didn't materialize. Hopefully we will remain that lucky!!!

Special, I'm jealous! We got a bit of snow on the ground and it's a wet, sloppy mess!
M, I'm still a little wound up just after traveling and all that, but I feel much better than I did yesterday, thanks!

I don't know about
a champ, but I seem to survive alright. Even when I don't think I will.
