I had a really bad night last night and only got about 2 hours sleep as I was in so much pain due to this Shingles. I have dealt with chronic pain for years but the pain caused by Shingles is something else I am taking 4 different pain killers and that is only just helping to ease the pain. I am also on a weeks worth of antiviral medicine which hopefully will lesson the period I have the Shingles but from what I have read on the internet recovery can take anywhere between 2-4 weeks this is my second week with it.

I just hope I don't have any of the possible consequences that can happen such as sight problems and continued Neuralgia after the Shingles has cleared up due to damaged nerves.

Oh Hibee, I'm so sorry. Things just don't seem fair sometimes! I hope your pain meds are helping some.

I had a crazy night of sleep. Tossing and turning, bizarre dreams, cold sweats and then I course I woke up to cramps this morning and my cycle begins. I just can't believe how sensitive my body has become to hormones. I was not like this prior to my most recent cycle of IVF. I can't help but think the fertility drugs have had a lasting impact on my body.

Anyway, I'm hoping to be panic free today. My son and I are going to lay low and hang around the house which can be good or bad, so we'll see.
