mum in hospital.

slept all day. decompressed SC. foot is fine. family is working on the brother with serious issues. has a spectrum related disorder, undiagnosed. had aspergers as a kid. is extremely manipulating. doesn't get the enormity of what he has put mum through. as his oldest brother is was cold and offered him nothing. sis and other sis will meet up at mums after visiting mum. (too clean and organize-it is putrid. so lazy are these boys) i had to walk out. i have a psychiatrists appt. and mum is ok and has support. i am no good to this brother at the moment. he needs serious transitional support. the other is in respite and doing well. thx for caring guys.

sis just got back. both sisters visited mum. she is in a general psych hospital now.has her own rom and bathroom i am told. she is up and down. mum rang the evil son, he found out where she is, luckily both my sisters were there at the time. all they wanted was mums bank card. sister has it. evil so said to mum if have to home in a week. my sis gave him a huge reality check that she coming to be with me and sis and not coming back until she is well. good job. we can't stop the boys visiting, but it is far on public transport, thus they will not go in much.

so sorry HT - I'd sure love to hear your "Happy" voice! Prayers are with you. Life can sure hit hard.

Your mom is lucky to have you and your sisters looking after her.

Just remember turtle, you had your superhero cape revoked. You are only a mortal man now. You cant fix everything even if you want to. Keep yourself healthy or you wont be able to help anyone.
So take a deep breath and know that we are here for you.

It doesn't mean we don't think you are awesome....just mortal like the rest of us.

mum out in a few days and coming up to stay with sis. i am around the corner as well. so much for sis to organize. she is going down to talk with mental health team to get some stuff organised. house is a bomb, qoutes for rubbish removal happening. i feel mum should be in longer, but i know the system well and told the family that they will kick her out asap.

Postive thoughts of healing, peace, and a calm transfer for your mom to your sister's house.

I am also sending strength and perseverance for you and sis...as you will need to pace yourselves in your roles as caregiver. Take care of yourself, even as you care for your mom.

Families stick together in times of crisis...and you really have done just that. Great work from the two of you...and may you all continue to work together and be well!
